Chapter IV

Abai Geser the small boy
Changed his appearance,
He turned into a black raven
And leading his three

Elder cuckoo-sisters
Flew down
To the  Zambi - the wide Earth.
When he was down
On the Zambi - the wide Earth,

In vain he [looked for] the pure people:
Among the growing young people
He looked for, but in vain,
Among the elder men and women
He looked for the one and hardly found

An old woman who reached sixty,
An old man who reached seventy.
They were living there
In  the upper part of a big dell.
They were living there

Keeping  to the lower part of a big dell.
They were living
In a reed dwelling
With the roof made of grass.
He went to the old man and woman

And entered the father’s sacral semen,
The mother’s sacral belly.
That is how it was, they say.
In the mother’s sacral belly,
In the father’s sacral semen

Having seen the fifth moon
The right word said [Geser]:
“Mother, take off your hat!”
[The mother] cried out with fear
And threw off  her hat.

And then
Abai Geser the baby
Having come out through the top [of her head]
Went  to the celestial deities.
He called the thousand fair celestial deities

Onto a star
For a wise council,
He called them onto the Moon
For a good council.
The thousand fair celestial deities

Began to put him a lot of questions:
Geser the late-born,
What requests have you come with?
What wishes have you come with?
You saw the fifth moon

After you had entered the mother’s belly,
The father’s sacral semen.
How swiftly you have come!”
Sagan Khelge that had created him,
Sagan Nomon that had created him asked:

“What request have you come with?
What wishes have you come with?”-
“My thousand fair celestial deities,
From the heavens above take care of me,
The late-born Geser.

[While] I’m in the belly of the old mother,
While I’m in the semen of the old father
I need the thirty three bators,
I need
The three thousand warriors”.

The thousand fair celestial deities [said]:
“When you were sent down [from the Skies],
We, the thousand fair celestial deities,
Said that we would give you
All that you asked for,

We would do whatever
You asked for!
That’s how we sent you down, didn’t we?
Abai Geser the baby,
To the very land that

You had been sent to,
To that great Earth you go back.
And we, your thousand fair celestial deities,
Will give you all
You ask for.

We’ll do whatever
You just wish.
We’ll send down with you
Your thirty three hero-bators,
Your three thousand warriors,” thus having said

The creator of his - Sagan Khelge,
The creator of his -Sagan Nomon
Sent  [Geser back].
Abai Geser the baby
Went back

Along the golden silver gangway,
Without stumbling went into
The mother’s sacral belly,
The father’s sacral semen
Entered without missing.

The next day at sunrise
When he was entering the old woman said:
“Whether something that’ll kill us has stuck to me,
Whether something that’ll save us has stuck to me?
From now on
